Inga Meier -
Biography
Inga Meier is a fourth-year PhD student, specializing in theatre of violence and trauma - currently focusing on the narrativization of 9/11 - while also working on a film studies certificate. She has presented papers at conferences throughout the United States and in England, including at MMLA, SETC and the Shaw Society. She holds a BA with a double major in English Literature and Theatre Arts from Rutgers College, and an MFA in Dramaturgy with a certificate in Cultural Studies from SUNY: Stony Brook. As a dramaturg she has worked at professional and college theatres in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her own translation of Georg Büchner’s Woyzeck has been produced in New York and New Jersey.
