Julian Stetkevych - MFA Student

Julian Stetkevych is an actor and teacher of acting, voice, speech, and movement at CNU. He has a B.A. in Sociology from The University of Chicago, an M.F.A. in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater and an M.F.A. in Performance Pedagogy from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also taught and directed for two years before coming to CNU. Julian is an Artistic Associate at the New York based Packawallop Productions, where he has appeared in numerous productions and readings. During his eight years in New York City he acted for and worked with Classic Stage Company, Playwright’s Horizons, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Flux Theatre Ensemble, Theatre 1010, and Oxford Shakespeare Co., among others. Regionally, he has appeared at American Conservatory Theater, The Steppenwolf Theater, and Theo Ubique in Chicago. He was a teaching artist for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, teaching at schools around the New York City area and their summer program in the Hudson Valley. He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and is a member of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education and the Southeastern Theatre Conference and has presented at their annual conferences. He is also a member of the Michael Chekhov Association (MICHA).
