Observations in Performance Pedagogy

This directed study in pedagogy is designed to provide an opportunity for graduate students to observe and analyze educational theatre in colleges and communities. Over the course of the semester, students will observe four teachers at a variety of educational settings, including but not limit to non-profit organizations, theater training programs, and in-school outreach programs. For each observed course, they will complete a class observation assessment and detailed journal entry to support them in the development of their personal pedagogy.
