Special Topics in Performance: Musical Theatre

This course is designed to introduce the students to the principles of acting for the camera including industry terms, auditioning and acting techniques applied to film, television and commercials. Students will learn and demonstrate script analysis, character development, and scene performances, which will be recorded and reviewed in a classroom setting that resembles an actual on set environment. Scenes will be selected from a range of contemporary projects.
