Sound Design for the Theatre explores the skills and techniques of storytelling through audio. The class will focus on designing sound effects, atmosphere, and soundscapes for theatrical productions. Students will use equipment, apps, and engineering commonly used by professionals on practical projects, culminating in portfolio worthy materials. No previous experience is required, and those interested in audio for film, TV, podcasts, audio dramas, Theatre, etc. will learn practical skills to use for their personal projects and professional work.
