Jeremy Kahn

Jeremy Kahn is an actor, educator, and facilitator originally from Oakland, California. His research centers on the pedagogy of applied performance, with particular emphasis on the intersection of acting, civic engagement, and community-based practice. His scholarly and creative work is informed by over two decades of professional experience in theater, film, television, and interactive media.

As a performer, Jeremy has appeared in more than forty professional stage productions nationwide, including world premieres, classical works, and musicals. His film and television credits include Looking (HBO), Unleashed, Love Is Love Is Love, The Etruscan Smile, and Dirt, as well as numerous national and regional commercial campaigns. He has also worked as a motion-capture artist for several releases of the video game NBA 2K.

Jeremy is the Co-Director of the Summer Training Congress at American Conservatory Theater, a six-week full-time training program serving an international student body. In addition, he is an active member of the Kare Actors, a San Francisco Bay Area–based group that facilitates skill building workshops for medical professionals, focusing on communication and clinical presence.
