Natasha Cole (she/her) is an educator, scholar, and theatre artist from Rhode Island. She is a graduate student in Theater and Performance Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research examines 19th century US performances of disability, gender and sexuality, and race. Her creative practice is movement-based devising in collaboration with OUT LOUD Theatre in Providence, Rhode Island.
Natasha has shared her collaborative work with OUT LOUD at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and the Providence Fringe Festival. She has presented her research at the American Society for Theater Research and the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. Natasha currently serves as the Graduate Student Representative for the American Theatre and Drama Society (ATDS) and has co-organized its Career Conversations Series and Graduate Student Postconference Series. She received an A.M in Theater and Performance Studies at Washington University in St. Louis and a BFA in Theatre Arts (Performance) from Hofstra University.
